Process Control

We can provide you with full process control development, startup / commissioning, testing, and troubleshooting services.  We can support any of the following systems in your facility:  PLC's (Programmable Logic Controllers), HMI's (Human Machine Interfaces), and SCADA (Supervisory Control and Data Acquisitioning).

To help reduce cost, we strive to directly control your existing smart devices (electronic relays, VFD drives, etc.) to reduce additional hardware costs in your data acquisitioning and control systems.  This enables you to better control your process, the way you wish to control it, with more reliability and flexibility.  While your system may not be as complicated as the system shown below, it still needs to have flexibility and reliability.

We currently support many older and current Platforms.  If we do not presently support your Platform, we would be happy to learn your platform or help you find the right company or person to support your needs.

Control Architectures

Your process begins with the process equipment.  This equipment can include Smart Microprocessor Based Devices, motor starters, limit switches, analog sensors, etc.  These devices are usually monitored and controlled by a Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) or only monitored by a computer database.

Your Human/Machine Interface (HMI) or Supervisory Control and Data Acauisition (SCADA) system provides an easy access point between people and your process.  SCADA systems have more flexibility and capabilities.

Some of these capabilities are historical databases, alarm and report printing, etc.  The SCADA system usually runs on a standard workstation or server.  This gives the SCADA system the flexibility of using standard program packages to manage data, reports, etc.
